Have a Beary Merry Christmas: MFT Stamps 2016 Card Design Contest

Hello crafty friends!  I made the card below for the “2016 Card Design Superstar” contest.  This is a very exciting opportunity that MFT has given their fans.  I love this company so much.  Not only do they create wonderful products, but they also give so much back to this papercrafting community through various drawings, contests and challenges, this being one of them.  My long term goal is to own most of their products and keep participating in their amazing events…and hopefuly win some 🙂

This is what I made:

I made this card using all MFT Stamps and Dies.  Lately I’ve been into stretching my stamps by drawing in sweaters or halloween costumes on critters stamps.  Here I took the BB Beary Special Birthday stamp set and created a Christmas scene by drawing in the sweaters on the bears and coloring the stamp sets in holiday colors.  For the front of the card I also used Die-namics Inside and Out Stitched oval Stax.

For the inside of the card I used LLD Stitched Banner Alphabet and Fireplace Dies.  I thought these two items would helped to create a really cozy Christmas scene.  I also needed more gift boxes so I used some of the stamps from the retired Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set

Below are some close-ups of the card:
